Event Management 101 with John Doe Group

Jamie & James will guide the UNLOCKED group through the creative process used to generate those big ideas. From Storyboarding to trends discussions, briefs and pitches they'll present their methods and get the group involved in their own idea generation. This hands-on workshop will involve participants in the creative process, encouraging everyone to develop and refine their own concepts. Perfect for anyone looking to boost their creative thinking and idea generation skills.

Social media management with The Scottish Government
In this workshop, you will get an overview and 101 of social media management from the Brand Scotland, Net Zero Scotland and Parent Club Scotland social media teams with an ‘ask the expert’ panel discussion, where you can put your questions to the teams.

Deep dive into a career in copywriting with Story
In a fun, interactive session, three of Story's top copywriters will explain what a copywriter actually does and what skills and qualities you need to be a great one. We'll discuss the power of language to persuade, make emotional connections and turn people into brand believers. We'll address the AI question - will you still have a job in 10 years time? (Spoiler: the answer is yes.) And we'll finish with some practical tips for getting a foot in the door of a creative agency.

How to write a press release that the media wants with Story Shop
Henry & Madeleine will present the most effective way to put together a press release, maximising the number of published stories. They'll talk the group through their personal experiences as well as providing everyone with some hands-on experience.

Deep dive into the world of campaigns & careers with Leith Agency
Join Leith as they run a 'speed dating' type event with all the different departments in the world of marketing, communications and campaigns. This workshop event will allow you get a better understanding of different departments within an agency and getting to ask your curious questions. At the end of the workshop, the Leith team will bring everything together and show a campaign from start to finish that shows everyone how the whole journey works!

After an introduction and some ice breakers the workshop will dive into some compelling case studies. Participants will learn how to apply the principles that make a personal brand “Unstoppable” in the hands-on portion of the workshop as well as have a focused Q&A session with MadeBrave mentors. After the workshop a comprehensive slide deck summarising the workshop content will be shared with all attendees for future reference.

An introduction to brand development with StudioLR
An overall intro into the world of brand. Covering everything from what brands are and why they exist, through to the fundamentals of brand strategy, how we go about developing brands, and how to use creativity to your advantage. Participants will leave the session with a better understanding of what brands are, and a few timeless principles and quick tips they can apply in their own work. We’ll weave in some interactive exercises throughout the session and there will be time for a Q&A at the end.
